Ambergris is a secretion produced by the sperm whale’s digestive system and is considered an ideal scent fixative. In the past, whaling was prevalent, and fishermen collected ambergris by hunting sperm whales. As a result, the number of sperm whales has been declining due to the damage caused by humans to the marine ecosystem, coupled with illegal hunting and other problems. It was until the 1980s that humans discovered sperm whales were endangered. We must take action, both in terms of environmental protection and sustainable development.

 

To save lives, we turned to nature to restore the fragrance of ambergris through technology innovation. Over a decade ago, we successfully extracted the best natural alternative to ambergris - Clary Sage, through molecular separation.
